Why This Reference Exists
Printed Weld County directories faded out, while the records behind them remained in separate systems. The Weld County Assessor Property Data Search connects owners with parcels, and the Weld County Clerk and Recorder index catalogs recorded documents. Elections, court, vital-record, and historical sources answer different questions. The High Plains Library District, Greeley History Museum, and Colorado State Archives add older names and addresses. Bringing the routes together gives residents and family researchers a clearer starting point without pretending that one office maintains a complete people directory.
What the Reference Includes
- Pages by angle: the street directory (address-keyed records), the city directory (the historical shelf), and the resident lookup (one-person searches)
- The rolls and offices: the Assessor, Clerk and Recorder, elections office, 19th Judicial District, Weld County Health and Environment, and local-history collections
- Walkthroughs: how to trace who lives on a street, how to read a directory entry, how to follow a household across the decades
- Access rules: what Colorado law makes available, what stays restricted, and how a request works when an index is not online
Where the Reference Stops
This is a privately run reference site, not a Weld County office or a part of Colorado government. It has no affiliation with a county department, Greeley office, state agency, court, library, or records custodian. Several limits matter:
- We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Weld County
- We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
- We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
- We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
- We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail remains current
Only the custodian can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this reference may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions. Colorado stalking law, C.R.S. §18-3-602, and harassment law, C.R.S. §18-9-111, also set firm limits on using personal information to threaten or harm someone.
