Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Weld County Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to answer it.
Routine Technical Logs
Our host may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps in ordinary server logs. Those records are reviewed in aggregate for site operation and traffic measurement. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Information is used to operate the reference, address technical problems, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles from the small amount of data described here.
Links Beyond This Reference
Pages may point to Weld County and Colorado records guidance, the High Plains Library District, archives, and third-party search tools. Each outside service has its own privacy policy, and that policy governs information submitted there. Sponsored results are supplied by a third party and follow that provider's practices.
Who May Process It
Hosting and support providers may process the server logs needed to run the site. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the technical information described above where those tools are enabled. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is not shared as a visitor list.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as the operating purposes require. Because there are no user accounts, Weld County Residents Directory does not hold a site password or account profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, use the Contact page so it can be reviewed and deleted.
Colorado Privacy Choices
The Colorado Privacy Act, C.R.S. §§6-1-1301 et seq., may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. A covered controller generally has 45 days to respond, with a possible 45-day extension. Because this reference keeps very little, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and applicable server logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
Publicly available government records are generally outside the Act's personal-data scope and remain under the control of their custodian. The Colorado Open Records Act (CORA), C.R.S. §§24-72-201–206, supplies a request framework for public agency records, but it does not make every record public. Weld County vital statistics also remain subject to confidentiality rules under C.R.S. §§25-2-117–118. Requests to change an assessor record, recorded document, court file, or certificate must go to the responsible office.
